| El AnyTech365 Andalucía Open 2022 ya conoce un listado inicial de jugadores que disputarán el ATP Challenger 125 durante la semana del 28 de marzo al 3 de abril en Puente Romano Beach Resort de Marbella, entre los que se encuentran 10 tenistas dentro del Top-100 mundial. El eslovaco Alex Molcan, número 67 del ranking ATP, es el mejor clasificado dentro de los inscritos, seguido del campeón en 2019 Pablo Andújar, situado actualmente en el puesto 69. Roberto Carballés Baena y Jiri Vesely serían por el momento el tercer y cuarto cabeza de serie respectivamente; el español disputará su tercera edición consecutiva del torneo, mientras que el checo acude tras alcanzar hace tan solo dos semanas la final del ATP 500 de Dubai venciendo por el camino al ex-número 1 del mundo Novak Djokovic, y que volvería a Marbella tras su última participación en 2019 donde alcanzó los cuartos de final. Entre otros nombres destacados encontramos los de Fernando Verdasco, ex número 7 del mundo y ganador de siete títulos ATP; Jaume Munar, que buscará el trofeo tras caer derrotado en las tres últimas finales del torneo; Holger Rune, jugador danés de tan solo 18 años en gran progresión que ya disputó las Next Gen ATP Finals la temporada pasada; Lucas Pouille que llegó a alcanzar el Top-10 mundial en 2018 con cinco títulos ATP en su palmarés; y dos grandes veteranos ex Top-20 como Pablo Cuevas y Philipp Kohlschreiber, con seis y ocho títulos ATP respectivamente. | ENTRY LIST RELEASED FOR THE ATP CHALLENGER 125 WITH 10 CONTESTANTS WITHIN THE WORLD ‘TOP-100’ |
| The AnyTech365 Andalucía Open 2022 closes its official player acceptance list for the ATP Challenger 125, which will be held from March 27 to April 3 at Puente Romano Beach Resort in Marbella, among which are 10 tennis players within the world ‘Top-100’. The Slovak Alex Molcan, number 67 in the ATP ranking, is the best classified among those registered, followed by the 2019 champion Pablo Andújar, currently ranked 69. Roberto Carballés Baena and Jiri Vesely would be the third and fourth seed at the moment respectively; the Spaniard will play his third consecutive edition of the tournament, while the Czech will attend after reaching the final of the ATP 500 in Dubai just two weeks ago, beating former world No. 1 Novak Djokovic along the way, and who would return to Marbella after his last participation in 2019 where he reached the quarterfinals. Among other outstanding names we find Fernando Verdasco, former world No. 7 and winner of seven ATP titles; Jaume Munar, who will seek the trophy after being defeated in the last three finals of the tournament; Holger Rune, a highly progressive 18-year-old Danish player who already played in the Next Gen ATP Finals last season; Lucas Pouille who reached the world Top-10 in 2018 with five ATP titles under his belt; and two great former world Top-20 veterans like Pablo Cuevas and Philipp Kohlschreiber, with six and eight ATP titles respectively.
