| El AnyTech365 Andalucía Open 2022 ya conoce un listado inicial de jugadoras que disputarán el WTA 125 durante la semana del 28 de marzo al 3 de abril en Puente Romano Beach Resort de Marbella, entre las que se encuentran 16 tenistas dentro del Top-100 mundial. La belga Alison Van Uytvanck, número 55 del ranking WTA es la mejor clasificada dentro de las inscritas, seguida de la holandesa Arantxa Rus que ocupa el puesto 63, de la egipcia Mayar Sherif en la posición 67 y de Maryna Zanevska, también de nacionalidad belga, que está situada actualmente en el número 68 del ranking mundial. Entre otros nombres destacados encontramos los de Kristina Mladenovic, jugadora francesa ex Top-10 individual y ganadora de cinco Grand Slams en la modalidad de dobles, a la croata Donna Vekic, que alcanzó la posición número 19 en 2019 y que posee tres títulos WTA en su palmarés, misma cantidad que la eslovaca Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, también inscrita entre las 26 confirmadas. El cartel completo se conocerá una vez entregadas las hasta 6 invitaciones de las que dispone la organización del torneo, 4 de ellas con la posibilidad de ser otorgadas a jugadoras entre el puesto 11 y 50 del ranking WTA. | The AnyTech365 Andalucía Open 2022 closes its official player acceptance list for the WTA 125, which will be held from March 28 to April 3 at Puente Romano Beach Resort in Marbella, among which are 16 tennis players within the world ‘Top-100’. The Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck, number 55 in the WTA rankings, is the best classified among those registered, followed by the Dutch Arantxa Rus who occupies the 63rd position, the Egyptian Mayar Sherif in the 67th position and Maryna Zanevska, also of Belgian nationality, which is currently located at number 68 in the WTA rankings.
